PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device for an object to be packaged of a packaging box which is easy to assemble, store and transport wherein handling is easy and functions of a cushion can be kept even if an external stress is applied. SOLUTION: An object W to be packaged is positioned and held by a holding board 10 formed of a single corrugated fiberboard in a packaging box B. A first support wall 11 comprising a side of the holding board 10 folded downward, a second support wall 12 comprising two sides orthogonal to the first support wall folded downward, a third support wall 13 comprising a side opposite to the first support wall folded downward, and an inclined top plate 14 at the center are provided. A height H1 of the first support wall is larger than a thickness of the object W, and a height H3 of the third support wall 13 is smaller than the thickness of the object W. The top plate 14 is equipped with a center support wall folded downward with a cut to be of the same height as the second support wall and with an internal holding wall, forming an opening 18 for elastically holding the object W.
