PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior cord fatigue resistance for cords of a belt reinforcing layer and improve vibration comfortableness. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, filaments constituting organic fiber cords of a belt reinforcing layer for reinforcing a belt at least at its ends have cross sections in an outwardly protruded polygonal shape which is satisfied with 0.1<r1/r<1.0, 1.1<=R/r<=2.9, where R is the circumscribed radius, (r) is the inscribed radius and r1 is the radius of curvature of the end of the protrusion.
