PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent temperature rise at a nozzle portion of a front of a fuel injection valve, and keeps stable fuel injection. SOLUTION: This cylinder fuel injection engine has an ignition plug 14 attached to a cylinder head 8, an attaching hole 93 formed on the cylinder head 8, and a fuel injection valve 13 inserted through and fixed to the attaching hole 93. The fuel injection valve 13 has a small diameter nozzle portion 13b extended from a main body support surface 13c. A shaft hole 93b having a diameter smaller than that of the attaching hole 93 is formed on the hole 93 at its side of a combustion chamber 83. A member 94 is attached to the attaching hole or the shaft hole, which member has heat insulative function and prevents direct explosure to combustion frame. The nozzle portion 13b is inserted into the shaft hole 93b.
