PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption required to drive a motor-generator in the case of power of the motor-generator being transmitted to wheels, and a vehicle being stopped. SOLUTION: A control device for a hybrid vehicle having an engine transmitting power to wheels, a motor-generator arranged in a power transmission path between the engine and wheels, a torque converter arranged in a power transmission path between the motor-generator and wheels, and a lock-up clutch engaged/released to switch the mutual power transmission state of rotating members of the torque converter, is provided with a lock-up clutch control means for engaging the lock-up clutch in the case of the power of the motor- generator being transmitted to the wheels, and the vehicle being stopped (steps 201-209). |
