PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flare a tube end and to efficiently mount the tube to a tank main body by inserting the end part of the tube into inserting holes pierced to the tank main body at a fixed interval and successively forcedly fitting tooth parts protruding at a fixed interval to the outer circumference of a gear shaped jig into its opening end. SOLUTION: Many tube inserting holes are pierced in parallel at a fixed interval to a cylindrical tank main body 4, in which both ends of a heat exchanger are open, the end of respective tube 5 is inserted therein. Further, plural tooth parts 1 are protruted to the outer circumference of a gear shaped jig main body 2 at a fixed interval and at the same pitch as the array of the tubes 5, the center of the jig main body 2 is supported to an arm 3 to obtain a tube end flaring jig. The jig is inserted from one end opening part of the tank main body 4, the tooth part 1 is forcedly fitted into the opening end of the tube 5, simultaneously, the arm 3 is moved in the longitudinal direction the tank main body 4, successively, the opening ends are flared. Next, the flared part 9 of the tube 5 is brazed to the inserting hole of the tank main body 4 in liquid tight, further, both end openings of the tank main body 4 are plugged in liquid tight.
