PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for jetting molten metal which stands up for long time into liquid in an apparatus quickly cooling molten metal containing rare earth elements. SOLUTION: In the nozzle for jetting the molten metal used to the apparatus, in which the molten metal containing one or more kinds among the rare earth elements containing Y is rapidly cooled and solidified from the liquid state, the nozzle for jetting the molten metal is composed of sialon ceramic, in which the rare earth element oxide containing Y2O3 is added at 0.5-4 wt.% content in terms of the oxide as a sintering assistant. Further, not only corrosion resistance but also wettability to the molten rare earth element are improved by limiting the content of the rare earth element oxide added as the sintering assistant to 0.5-2 wt.%, and the more suitable nozzle can be provided.
