PURPOSE: A braking retardation apparatus is provided in which the apparatus has an improved structure to allow doors or flaps to be smoothly closed while preventing a noise. CONSTITUTION: A braking retardation apparatus(6) for a door(3) including a push rod(7) to be pushed into a housing(8) against a braking force, the push rod(7) is movable at guides of the housing(8), the apparatus(6) comprising a section made up of a gear rack(19), the section is engaged with a pinion of a rotary shock absorber disposed in the housing(8), and a spring(20) for pressing the apparatus in a direction the push rod(7) being pushed. |
