PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to equalize a phase of a clock signal supplied to a latch in a macro with a phase of a clock signal supplied to a latch in a circuit except for the macro. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device comprises two macros(110a,110b) which have phase adjusting circuits(111a,111b), respectively. The phase adjusting circuit(111a) receives a clock signal inputted from a line(121) to generate a clock signal(120a). The clock signal(112a) is amplified by a clock buffer(113a), and then is distributed to each latch in the macro with the same phase. A clock signal(114a) is distributed to the phase adjusting circuit(111a) with the same phase. The phase adjusting circuit(111a) generates a clock signal(112a) so that the clock signals(114a,121) are equalized in phase. The phase adjusting circuit(111b) of the macro(110b) operates the same as the phase adjusting circuit(111a) of the macro(110a).
