摘要 PURPOSE: A system for controlling a transmission power in a CDMA base station is provided to prevent an interruption generation between a base station and a mobile station. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling a transmission power in a CDMA base station comprises a transmitter section(6) which consists of an adder(10), a digital-to-analog converter(12), an amplifier(13), a modulator(14), a variable attenuator(15) and a power amplifier(16). The adder(10) sums a plurality of first-order modulation signals from plural baseband processing sections as a baseband signal. The digital-to-analog converter(12) converts a sum signal of the adder(10) into an analog signal, and the amplifier(13) amplifies an output signal of the digital-to-analog converter(12). The modulator(14) mixes the amplified sum signal and a local signal(or a spread cod signal) to generate a spread signal. The variable attenuator(15) gradually controls (or attenuates) a power level of the spread signal from the modulator(14) according to a control signal from a control part. The power amplifier(16) amplifies the power of the controlled spread signal into a selected level to transfer the amplified signal to a duplexer.
