PURPOSE: An automatic correction watch is provided to realize a small size and a low cost, and to perform a correction in a high accuracy and rapidly. CONSTITUTION: An automatic correction watch comprises a first drive unit(20), a second drive unit(30), a light detection sensor(40), and a manual correction unit(50). The first drive unit(20) drives a second hand, and the second drive unit(30) drives a minute hand and an hour hand. The light detection sensor(40) is a light penetration type, and detects positions of the second hand, the minute hand and the hour hand. The manual correction unit(50) makes a user adjust the time of day. A control part receives a standard time radio wave from a radio station, and controls a reset operation on the basis of the received signal.
