DEFROSTING TIMER FOR DEFROSTING OF REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A defrosting timer is provided to forcibly defrost a refrigerator if necessary all the time without regard to a decided cycle of a defrosting timer. CONSTITUTION: A defrosting timer has a forcible defrosting button(50) forcibly connect a third contact point(22) of a common terminal(20) to a fourth contact point(31) of a defrosting terminal(30) by pushing a defrosting terminal(30). The forcible defrosting button is composed of a rod(51) having its front end(52) placed to be close to the defrosting terminal by being punched on a casing(40), a return spring(53) supporting the rod elastically and a handle(54) exposed out of the casing. On the front end(52) of the rod, a hanging sill is protruded to the teeth of a driven gear(1). The hanging sill fixed by being hung on the teeth is unlocked by the rotation of the driven gear at a certain angular degrees. Herein, a forced defrosting is performed only for a certain time according to the return to the original position employing the force of the return spring.
