DEVICE FOR INPUTTING CHECK BALL BY HAVING INTELLIGENCE FUNCTION

PURPOSE: An input device of check balls by having an intelligence function is provided to input check balls accurately to the vortex point when inputting check balls to restrain vortex occurring in molten material in a converter and to block up discharge of slag at the end of steel tapping. CONSTITUTION: A lower placement stand(47) is combined to a forklift and a check ball(17) is hung on a check ball hook of a movement support pole(33) via chains(17a). An operation panel(39) embedded in the forklift is operated and a vortex controller(37) connected to a central processing unit(38) is operated to operate a vortex sensing piece. The vortex sensing piece senses sound waves due to vortex and transmits the sound waves to the central processing unit. A solenoid valve(41) and a motor controller(40) are operated by a program input in the central processing unit. A cylinder(42) and a rotary motor(48) automatically operate and move the movement support pole to place the check ball in a corresponding point. After the operation, a driver of the forklift promptly operates the forklift and lowers feet of the forklift. The chains having the check ball is deposited in the slag and the chains are molten. The check ball is accurately input to the point where vortex is formed. Thereby the vortex occurred by the molten material is removed.
