PURPOSE: A method is provided to suppress fume by preventing a molten wire from oxidizing with the adjustment of ladle atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: A molten wire is composed of steel, 4.5wt% of carbon, 0.3 to 1wt% of silicon, 0.2 to 0.4wt% of manganese and so on. The temperature of a ladle is kept in about 1399 to 1500°C. When the molten wire is exposed to atmosphere, oxidized steel, silicon oxide, manganese oxide and carbon dioxide are generated. The carbon dioxide pulverizes the molten wire and the solid oxides in a powder state are discharged to the outside of the ladle. At that time, carbon dioxide intercepts the ladle from atmosphere to prevent molten wire from oxidizing and fume from generating.
