POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITIONS

PURPOSE: A polycarbonate resin composition excellent in impact resistance and mold ability is provided which is advantageously usable in various fields including automobile parts and electrical and electronic components. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises (A) 5 to 95 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin comprising a plurality of aromatic polycarbonate main chains having repeated units of formula 1 and containing specific different kinds of linkage units in the main chains in specific amounts and (B) 5 to 95 parts by weight of a rubber-reinforced thermoplastic resin containing a graft copolymer prepared by grafting a rubbery polymer with a vinyl compound. When the component (B) is a graft copolymer prepared by emulsion graft polymerization in the presence of a radical-polymerizable emulsifying agent having a double bond in the molecule, the resulting composition has another advantage that the residence thereof at high temperature little causes lowering in the impact strength or discoloration. When the composition further contains (C) a flame retardant and an anti-dropping agent as optional components, the resulting composition exhibits far more excellent anti-dropping properties.
