摘要 PURPOSE: A device for multiplexing a DS1 signal and a tributary unit group signal(TUG-2) in an optical subscriber transmission system is provided so that the inputted DS1 signal can be multiplexed along a corresponding multiplexing path to generate a TUG signal. CONSTITUTION: A lower virtual container signal processing unit(300) receives a DS1 signal, enerates a lower virtual container signal by inserting a lower path overhead thereint o,and outputs a parallel signal having a predetermined bit width. A transmitting lower virtual container signal clock control unit(400) generates a clock signal required to generate the lower path overhead and a parallel data processing clock signal to a lower virtual container signal processing unit(300). A pointer generating unit(500) receives a pointer clock signal, and generates a pointer for forming a TU-11 signal. A TUG signal generating unit(600) generates the TU-11 signal by inserting the pointer into the parallel signal from the lower virtual container signal processing unit(300), and multiplexes the TU-11 signal to a TUG-2 signal. A transmitting TUG signal clock control unit(700) receives and processes a transmitting clock signal, and provides a clock signal required to operate the TUG signal generating unit(600) and the pointer generating unit(500).
