PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to realize a high-quality display by use of a low voltage signal driving circuit. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a correction and alternation circuit which generates an alternation signal(M) and correction period signals(PBST,NBST). The alternation signal(M) indicates an alternation of an opposed voltage applied to an opposed electrode, and the correction period signals(PBST,NBST) indicates a period of applying a correction voltage to the opposed electrode. The correction period signal(PBST) is to set a correction voltage period which is valid when an opposed voltage(Vcom) is a positive polarity. The correction period signal(NBST) is to set a correction voltage period which is valid when the opposed voltage(Vcom) is a negative polarity.
