PURPOSE: A structure of a cylinder block and a crank shaft bearing with an oil passage for a vehicle is provided to reduce friction heat of a crank shaft and a bearing and to make the circulation of oil prompt. CONSTITUTION: An oil delivered via a though hole(36a) of an upper bearing (26) is returned to an oil fan via two return holes(38) formed on a main bearing cap(12) fixed to the bottom of a cylinder block. A gap able to form an oil film is formed by a slit formed on the bottom of the cylinder block. The oil delivered to a lower bearing (28) is returned via the return holes promptly after lubricating a crank pin part. Thereby the friction heat of the inner faces of upper and lower bearing s(26,28) and the crank pin part is cooled promptly.
