DEVICE FOR GENERATING STROBE SIGNAL FOR EXTRACTING PILOT SIGNAL IN COFDM RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A device for generating strobe signal for extracting pilot signal in COFDM receiver is provided to reduce the cost in manufacturing COFDM(coded orthogonal frequency division multiplex)receiver by simply implementing strobe signals for extracting TPS pilot and CPC pilot signals in COFDM receiver with a ROM. CONSTITUTION: A device for generating strobe signal for extracting pilot signal in COFDM receiver includes a counter(20), a TPS ROM(22) and a CPC ROM(24). The counter(20) counts clocks and outputs clock values as carrier number while being enabled by a valid signal. In case that valid signal is high, the counter(20) counts and outputs carrier number from 0 to 1704. The TPS ROM(22) receives carrier number from 0 to 1704 in address and outputs strobe signals for outputting TPS pilot. The CPC ROM(24) receives carrier number from 0 to 1704 and outputs strobe signals for outputting CPC pilot.
