PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to select the required write data signal even when a change in a data strobe signal timing is occurred, and to prevent wrong data from being selected due to a noise signal. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device(1) includes a blocker. The semiconductor device selects a serial data signal from outer space as a data signal(DQ). The semiconductor device operates in synchronization with a data strobe signal(DS). The blocker blocks a serial data signal from being selected into an inner circuit responding to the shifting phase of the data strobe signal(DS). The shifting phase of the data strobe signal(DS) is correspondent to the last bit of the serial data signal. The block further inactivates a select control signal responding to an output of a data select clock signal.
