PURPOSE: A device for inquire credit card is provided to identify the identity of a user by ID down mode. CONSTITUTION: A device for inquire credit card comprises a modem(21), a transmission processor (22), a card reader(23), a receive processor(24), a micom(25), a display unit(26) and a key input unit(27), The modem(21) transmits digital information through an analog communication network. The card reader(23) reads information recorded in a magnetic record unit of the card. The transmission processor(22) transfers ID read from the card through the modem to a server of a card company. The receive processor(24) transfers data received through the modem to the micom(25).
