<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, with which a metallic coil is uniformly and quickly heated, and a high frequency induction furnace suitably to this method. SOLUTION: High frequency induction magnetic field is impressed in the circumferential direction of the metallic coil 1 interposing an electric insulating layer between the metallic sheets to execute the induction heating. The electric- insulating layer containing decarburizing and demanganese promotor is better one. In the heating with this method, the high frequency induction heating furnace, in which an induction coil is wound around the inner part so as to form an annular space and is divided into two at the portion crossing to the orthogonal plane to the center axis of the annular space and the high frequency induction heating furnace mutually electrically connected through a connecting part 3 arranged at this portion, may be used.</p> |
