PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for resetting of a parameter even when a connected transmitter or the like is changed by discriminating the occurrence of a trailing edge and a leading edge of an input pulse depending whether the input pulse is more than or a less than a maximum value and a minimum value stored in a register. CONSTITUTION:A maximum value D2 of a code signal pulse D1 from an A/D converter 21 is stored in a maximum value register 23. Then a comparator 27 compares the maximum value D2 with a sum D4 between the pulse D1 and a discrimination value E by an adder 25, and when the pulse D1 is less than the maximum value D2, a signal D6 representing the occurrence of a trailing edge of the pulse D1 is outputted. Similarly, a signal D7 representing a leading edge of the pulse D1 is outputted through a minimum value register 29 or the like, it is not required to set a pulse frequency and a pulse peak level or the like as parameters and the pulse detector is obtained, in which it is not required to set the parameter again even when a model of a transmitter or a type of a transmission line is changed. |
