PURPOSE:To obtain a reversible thermosensitive recording material capable of a broad transparency creating temperature by providing a thermal layer consisting mainly of a resin material and an organic low molecular weight material dispersed in the resin material, and further, containing unsaturated aliphatic metal salts, on a support. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensitive layer consisting of a resin material and an organic low molecular weight material dispersed in the resin material and further, containing unsaturated aliphatic metal salts, is provided on a support. The actually used unsaturated aliphatic acids of unsaturated aliphatic metal salts are oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolic acid and erucic acid, and their metals are Ca, Zn, Mg, Al, Pb, Co, Ni, Fe, Cu, Mn, Ti, Sn, Li Cd and Ba. The organic low molecular weight materials used are generally of melting point ranging from about 50 to 150 deg.C, and are represented by alkanol, alkanediol, halogenalkanol and halogenalkanediol. |
