PURPOSE: A method for controlling a screen in a TV having a picture in picture(PIP) function is provided so that a user can designate a position of a main screen when selecting a PIP mode to watch the main and sub-screens at the same time. CONSTITUTION: In a method for controlling a screen in a TV having a picture in picture(PIP) function, when a user selects a PIP mode and does not designate a position of a main screen, the main and sub-screens are outputted in a predetermined position. When the user designates the position of the main screen by a key control, the predetermined position of the main screen is ignored, and thus the main screen is outputted in the designated position. The sub-screen is displayed anywhere except the position of the main screen. Accordingly, the user can output the main screen in the comfortable position. |
