STEEL CORD FOR REINFORCING RUBBER PRODUCT

PURPOSE: A steel cord is provided to improve osmosis of rubber by widening an interval between side filaments by connecting a side line after giving a spiral change into an entire core cord and to be easily processed by reducing a generation of disconnection in a connecting process. CONSTITUTION: After forming a core cord by twisting 2-3 filaments generally used for a steel cord, a spiral change is given into a surface of core by passing a roller of saw tooth to give a regular changed rate into the core cord. An interval between filament of each side is uniformly generated within 0.1-2.0mm by connecting 4-10 side filaments thereon. A changed pitch(P2) of core cord passed the roller of saw tooth is 0.5-2.5times of the pitch(P1) of core cord and a changed diameter of core cord(D2) is 1.1-5.0times of a cord diameter of core cord. The changed pitch and the changed diameter of core cord are controlled by changing a pitch of saw tooth roller and a depth of groove.
