METHOD FOR DETECTING INCREASE OF RESISTANCE IN HEATING WATER LINE OF GAS BOILER

PURPOSE: A method for detecting an increase of resistance in heating water line of gas boiler is provided to allow a state of resistance in heating water line to indicate in an indicator lamp mounted in the gas boiler according to the detection of the increase of resistance in the heating water line, such that users recognize quickly whether any part of the boiler is in disorder. With an alarm from the indicator lamp, user takes necessary measures, or call repair service to the manufacturer immediately, and then the repair of the boiler is made without delay. Consequently, any deterioration of the durability of the boiler itself is protected and, thus, the user's confidence to the boiler is improved. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting an increase of resistance in heating water line of gas boiler is featured in that increase of resistance in heating water line is detected, if a predetermined duration time period of heating combustion repeats several times under the state that a heating temperature set by a user is beyond a predetermined temperature. Also, the method allows to detect the increase of resistance in heating water line, if a sudden change of the slope of a temperature curve is detected as being repeated several times by comparing the temperatures of two thermistors. As the increase of resistance in heating water line is detected, an indicator lamp mounted in a gas boiler flickers with a normal combustion process kept continuously, so that the user quickly recognizes an alarm of disorder from the indicator.
