<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute fast signal processing by simpler constitution by collecting and distributing the cells of a signal channel through the use of an ATM switch so as to execute adaptation processing in common with respective subscriber lines. SOLUTION: The subscriber line signal equipment 1 consisting of LAPD/LSI 101 executing the adaptation processing of segmentation, reassembling, etc., is connected to the side of the repeating line of an ATM switch 30 through a bus 15. The equipment 1 is connected to a processor 40 executing the protocol processing of the layer 3 of a signal channel, the update of a header conversion table, the initial value setting of the switch 30, the control of LAPD/LSI 101, etc., through a bus 103. A subscriber line interface part 10 and a repeating line interface part 20 execute an optic/electric signal conversion, the adding/ erasing of route information, etc.</p> |
