INK JET PRINT HEAD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An ink jet print head is provided to reinforce contact force between an ink jet print head and other structures such as barrier layers of an ink chamber and a heating chamber and to prevent leakage of ink and working liquid through the reinforcement of the contact force. CONSTITUTION: In an ink jet print head, an SiO2 protective film(2) is formed on a silicon substrate(1) and a heating layer(11) is provided on the protective film. An electrode layer(3) is formed on the heating layer to feed electric energy to the heating layer. The electrode layer is connected with a common electrode(12) and the electric energy is converted into thermal energy by the heating layer. Therefore, a barrier layer(7) of an ink chamber is changed into a firm adhesive material. When the barrier layer is assembled with the membrane, the barrier layer(7) keeps combining force between itself and a membrane without an additional combination-inducing layer.
