PURPOSE: A device for driving a gate in an FED(Field Emission Display) is provided to minimize an effect from leakage current and to precisely drive the panel of the FED. CONSTITUTION: A driving circuit unit(18) of a gate generates a scan signal for outputting, and a driving circuit unit(16) of data generates a data signal for feeding to a cathode(11). Herein, the scan signal and the data signal are inputted to a synchronizing circuit unit of gate-data. Then, the synchronizing circuit unit of gate-data generates a scan signal synchronized by an AND gate or an NOR gate for feeding to a gate(12) through a buffer. Therefore, the scan signal is disappeared in case of absence of the data signal while generating the scan signal in case of generating the data signal. As a result, the generation of leakage current flowing to the gate is prevented in case of the absence of the data signal.
