PURPOSE: A display unit control apparatus is provided to realize a magnification display and a high accuracy display with a moderate price in a multi display which consists of a plurality of liquid crystal displays. CONSTITUTION: A display control apparatus comprises an input data processor(104), a control data processor(131), a data output part and a control part. The data output part consists of a frame memory control circuit(107), a frame memory read control circuit(108), frame memories(110,111), and a magnification data processor(112). The control part consists of a horizontal record position start register(117), a horizontal record width register(118), a vertical record position start register(119), a vertical record width register(120), registers(121,122), a horizontal read position register(123), a vertical read position register(124), a horizontal period register(125), a vertical period register(126), an output timing signal generator(114), an ID set circuit(129), a micro computer(128) and a data storing memory(130). The input data processor(104) inputs display data, and the control data processor(131) inputs control data comprising information for appointing partial display data of the display data. The data output part outputs the inputted display data to a display part(102). The control part controls the output part so as to output the partial display data to the display part(102), based on the control data.
