PURPOSE: A speed transmission is provided to achieve a small sized speed transmission composed of less components while applying an integrated torque sensor thereto. CONSTITUTION: A speed transmission comprises a shaft rotatable at a predetermined periphery of axis, a pulley having a first flange attached to the shaft and a second flange rotatable with the shaft and which is movable in axial direction toward the first flange so as to be separated from the first flange, a circulatory flexible torque transmission device moving on the pulley, a plenum chamber containing with a fluid, and a torque sensor for changing hydraulic pressure in the chamber accordance with the size of the torque transmitted by the transmission, the sensor composed of a rolling property serving to transmit torque applied to the flange and which is disposed between cam surfaces, the sensor having a first and a second properties facing cam surfaces, at least one of the properties affects the other properties in response to the change of the size of the transmitted torque, the rolling property and the cam surface being arranged in the chamber.
