PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to exchange a copying roller easily although a discharge member is disposed at an optimum position where a division performance is increased. CONSTITUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a projection roller(5), a cleaning blade (6), and a discharge needle(26). The projection roller(5) projects a toner phase formed by a development unit(4) on a projection sheet, and the cleaning blade(6) removes a residual toner on a photosensitive body(1) after projecting the toner phase on the projection sheet. The projection sheet is discharged by the discharge needle(26), and is transferred to a mounting part according to a guide of a transfer guide. The discharge needle(26) protects and supports so that an electrode plane(26a) of a saw tooth shape is inserted between a holder front plane(27a) and a holder rear plane(27b). The discharge needle(26) is disposed at a concave portion(15a) formed at an inside plane of a cover(15) so that an electrode front end is oriented to the photosensitive body(1) side.
