PN SEQUENCE PHASE SEARCHING DEVICE AND METHOD IN TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM OF MULTI CARRIER CDMA MODE

PURPOSE: A PN sequence phase searching device and method in telecommunication system of multi carrier CDMA mode is provided to perform PN sequency phase searching operations by different search conditions, thereby reducing time to necessary to the searching operation. CONSTITUTION: A PN sequence phase searching device in telecommunication system of multi carrier CDMA mode comprises a carrier demodulation unit(400), at least two phase searchers(430,450) and a control unit(460). The carrier demodulation unit(400) demodulates first to Nth band receive signals of respective band. The phase searchers(430,450) perform PN sequence phase searching to the first to Nth band receive signals to output PN phase and energy information. The control unit(460) controls the operations of the searches.
