PURPOSE: A device for controlling the ice dispensation of a refrigerator is provided to stop a rotating blade by blocking driving force transferred to an ice dispenser in case of opening a freezing cavity door. CONSTITUTION: When a user opens a freezing cavity door, an ice box(30) is pushed out toward the front side of a freezing cavity by the elastic force of an elastic member(44) installed on the upper rear surface of the ice box. Then, a first driving plate(42) and a second driving plate(46) of the ice box are automatically separated, and the driving force transferred to the first driving plate is blocked. Therefore, an ice guider(40) and a rotating blade driven by the first driving plate are stopped.
