PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling TV sound output through headphone is provided to exact headphone output to left and right. CONSTITUTION: A device and method for controlling TV sound output through a headphone includes a microprocessor(28) for controlling the system by automatically converting and outputting the left and right signal, when the left and right output transmitted to a radio headset is confused. A radio data transmission and receiving unit(25) transmits and receives sound signal of a sound processor(23) to a radio head set by controlling the microprocessor(28). A headphone signal output unit(27) outputs headphone signals through the radio data transmission and receiving unit(25), and a headphone signal input unit(26) inputs the headphone signal firstly being output to the radio data transmission and receiving unit(25).
