PURPOSE: A plasma display panel(PDP) is provided to prevent cross-talk between pixels. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes a conductive layer(1) formed on a dielectric layer(D) of a front board(P1). The conductive layer(1) faces toward a partition wall(B) on a rear board(P2). The conductive layer(1) is preferably a thin layer of transparent conductive material. The conductive layer(1) constitutes a capacitor together with a front electrode(E1) and the dielectric layer(D). That is, the capacitor is located between the partition wall(B) and the front board(P1). Therefore, an electric charge transmitted to a top of the partition wall(B) is absorbed into the capacitor, and the stored electric charge is then disappeared due to current supplied to the front electrode(E1). Thereby, a movement of the electric charge through a space above the partition wall(B) is intercepted, and cross-talk between pixels is prevented. |
