PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically cut-off and connection of transmission output in light transmission network is provided so that transmission light output can become cut-off or connect by using a circulator and a receiver for monitoring at a transmission unit, thereby discriminating the existence of the light signal within the feedback signal corresponding to the transmission light signal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically cut-off and connection of transmission output in light transmission network includes a circulator (313), which has input and output three terminals for a bidirectional communication. The circulator (313) is connected to the output terminal of a post-amplifier (312) in a transmission unit (310). A circulator (371) having input and output three terminals for a bidirectional communication is connected to the input terminal of a pre-amplifier (372) in a receiving unit (370). A transmission light signal transmitted from the transmission unit (310) is retransmitted to the transmission unit (310) by the circulator (371) of the receiving unit (370), the retransmitted transmission signal is transmitted to a light receiver for monitoring (314) through the circulator (313) of the transmission unit (310), thereby discriminating the existence of the light signal within the feedback signal corresponding to the transmission light signal and measuring the intensity of signal. |
