The present invention pertains to the field of rectification columns having a reduced diameter (up to 1000 mm) and may be used in the gas- and oil-conversion industry, in the petroleum chemistry, in the chemical industry as well as in other related industrial branches, mainly in the production of oil-conversion plants having reduced dimensions. The body of the column comprises a plurality of blocks each having from three to four or even five plates mounted therein. The plates are directly mounted in the body of the block and are attached using a fit ring.
