MICROCOMPUTER HAVING MEMORY AND PROCESSOR FORMED ON SAME CHIP

PURPOSE: A microcomputer having memory and processor formed on same chip is provided to quickly and effectively transfer information without degrading performance. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer having memory and processor formed on same chip comprises a DQ pad(21), a BIU(bus interface unit; 23), a DRAM(26) and a GIO bus(28). The DQ pad(21) is connected to outside bus and inputs/outputs information. The BIU(23) is connected to the DQ pad(21) via a DB bus(22) to manage the information transfer between inside and outside of the microcomputer(20). The DRAM(26) is coupled to the BIU(23) through a BIU bus(24) to transfer storage information. The DRAM(26) is also connected to the GIO bus(28).
