PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which can regulate the temperature of the entire room uniformly and can realize efficient temperature regulation. SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises a body 2 for regulating the air temperature at a specified level, an air blow-out box 3, and a duct for passing air regulated at a specified temperature from the body 2 to the blow-out box 3. The blow-out box 3 is provided with an elongated hole 7 for blowing air in one direction and an annular band, i.e., a rotary belt 8, is fixed to cover the elongated hole 7 in the blow-out box 3. The rotary belt 8 is provided with an air outlet 11 exposing a part of the elongated hole 7.
