PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve which does not impart unpleasant feeling to a user by reducing noise generated when a plunger is moved in the valve opening and closing directions. SOLUTION: In a solenoid valve 1 constituted of a solenoid valve main body 2 provided with a valve port part 21, a valve element opening, closing and moving for the valve port part 21, a plunger 3 connected with the valve element, a cylinder 12 storing the plunger 3, an electromagnetic coil 14 and an attractor 4 arranged on the outside of the cylinder 12 and a return spring 16 which is arranged between the attractor 4 and the plunger 3 and energizes the valve element 13 to the valve port part 21, a buffer spring 5 on which one spring tip part 5a is abutted by being inserted into a projecting part 31 provided on the plunger 3 and the other spring tip part 5b is abutted by being inserted into an annular recessed part 22 provided on the solenoid valve main body 2 is provided. The solenoid valve main body 2 is provided with a diffuser 6 on the exit channel 8 side.
