PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect the error of transmission data at the time of detecting the error of data, especially at the time of detecting transmission data generated when data is transmitted. SOLUTION: An error detector is provided with a feedback shift register 45 dividing a received bit string by a generation polynomial formula. The error of the received bit string is detected from a remainder obtained by the feedback shift register 45. The shift direction/feedback direction of the feedback shift register 45 are made to be opposite to a shift direction and a feedback direction when a transmission bit string is generated by using a prescribed generation polynomial formula on a transmission side.
