<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running circumstance recognition device which recognizes information related to the running of user's own vehicle with high precision even in the case of variance in attaching position of a running circumstance recognition sensor. SOLUTION: The running circumstance recognition device 1 is provided with a communication part 11, a detection area determining part 12 which determines a detection area which this device 1 should detect, and a sending part 13. The communication part 11 is connected to an external device through a bus 1200 and communicates data related to the attaching position of the running circumstance recognition device 1 to the vehicle, and the detection area determining part 12 determines the detection area, which the running circumstance recognition device 1 should detect, based on data related to the attaching position of this device to the vehicle which is received through the communication part 11, and the sensing part 13 outputs the detection result through the communication part based on the detection area determined by the detection area determining part 12.</p> |
