PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a video recording system to efficiently enroll video images in a short time and with less number of people by using small-sized digital video cameras offering ease of carrying in the case of enrolling video images photographed by a plurality of the video cameras. SOLUTION: Each digital video camera 1 used for photographing is provided with a video amplifier 2 that amplifies a video signal and with a phase synchronization device 3 that phase-synchronizes the amplified video signal with a signal received externally and provides an output of the synchronized signal, each phase synchronization device 3 receives a synchronizing signal (bb out) outputted from a video switching device 5, the video switching device 5 receives a video signal of each digital video camera 1 phase-locked with each other, the video switching device 5 selects a synchronized video signal and outputs the selected signal to a digital recording system video tape recorder 6, which enrolls the photographed video images.
