PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fixing roller from being deformed, as a result of the exerted pressure by the pressing roller, in the case of adopting the thin thickness fixing roller by closely fixing a heat resist/insulate/supporting member provided with a cylindrical base body and a heating resistor member on the inner peripheral surface. SOLUTION: This fixing device is composed so as to fit the heat resist/insulate/ supporting member 13 on a center part of the inner peripheral surface of the heating resistor member 11, after fitting the heating resistor member 11 in the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical base body 10B, and to fix by fitting agent 12. The heat resist/ insulate/supporting member 13, serves as the reinforcing member for preventing the thin thickness pipe state cylindrical base body 10B from being deformed by the pressure of the pressure roller and the cleaning roller, by holding the heating resistor member 11 pressed so as to be held in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical base body 10B in consequence of elasticity preventing the fixing roller 13 from being deformed by the pressure. Thus, the device is made possible to prevent the thin thickness cylindrical base body 10B from being deformed by the pressing force of the pressure roller or the like by fixing the heat resist/insulate/supporting member 13 on the inner peripheral surface of the heating resistor member 11.
