PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform an electric performance and also reduce production costs. SOLUTION: A rotational speed sensor 1 has a sensor part 5 constituted including a sensor body 2 for outputting a detect signal for detecting a rotational speed of a rotary body via a signal cable W and a holding tool 3 formed so that it can hold the sensor body 2. The sensor is manufactured by resin molding the sensor part 5 while holding the sensor body 2 in a state in which the sensor part is temporarily fixed to a predetermined position in a molding mold. The holding tool 3 in a state holding the sensor body 2 is temporarily fixed to a predetermined position of a primary molding mold, whereby the sensor part 5 is formed in the primary molding. Thereafter, the sensor part 5 in a state having the signal cable W connected thereto is temporarily fixed to a predetermined position of a secondary molding mold to be secondarily molded, whereby the sensor part 5 and signal cable W are tightly secured. The sensor is manufactured in this manner.
