PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device capable of giving/receiving more signals to/from an external device, while maintaining existing functions and enabling a structure to be made more compact. SOLUTION: This connection device has a female terminal device 10, having a plurality of contact piece parts 12 to 15, a male terminal device 20 having contact parts 23a, 23c, and a male terminal device 30 having contact parts 33b, 33d in positions different from the male terminal device 20, and the contact parts are adapted to make electrical contact with different contact piece parts, by engaging either of the male terminal devices 20, 30 with the female terminal device 10, and therefore, by changing the male terminal devices 20, 30 for engagement with the single female terminal device 10, different electrical connections can be achieved and as a result, a plurality of functions can be carried out in relation to an external device.
