PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and positively authenticate a user, while making it difficult for others to decipher the authentication by viewing input from behind by performing operation for matching contents inputted by a user for a image displayed in position information with respect to the display contents at the position and holding the result by a prescribed number of times and if everything matches, authenticating the person who have done the input. SOLUTION: When a user inputs his name through an input part 20, position information registered corresponding to the name of the user is fetched. Images determined by random numbers are displayed in respective areas on the display screen of an output part 21. The user views the images in the areas of the stored position information on the display screen of the output part 21 and operates 'Y'(Yes) or 'N'(No) at an input part 20. A recognition part 12 matches the input inputted from the input part 20 against the held contents by a matching means 121 and holds the matching/mismatching result in a storage means 122. This operation is performed as many times as is prescribed in advance and if a complete match is obtained, an output indicating correctness is generated. |
