TONER CARTRIDGE AND DEVELOPING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge and a developing unit with high performance at low cost by prolonging the service life of the developing unit by enabling exchange of a blade at the same time as the exchange of the toner cartridge in the toner cartridge and the developing unit. SOLUTION: In this toner cartridge of the developing unit where a toner layer is formed on a developing roll 13 where the toner can be transported to a surface of a photoreceptor drum by utilizing a blade 4 and a visual image is developed by utilizing the toner of the toner layer, an opening 8 is provided on a part of a case 2 storing the toner 7. A lid is provided on the opening 8 which can be opened/closed through a mechanism for opening and closing 5. The before mentioned lid is energized in the closing direction through the mechanism for opening and closing 5 and when force is imparted from outside in the direction of opening the lid, the lid is constituted to be opened. The lid is constituted with the blade 4.
