PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of preventing the destruction of an optical disk medium. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a tray 12, plural media sensors (detecting means) 1-1 to 1-4 arranged on the tray 12 for detecting the existence of the optical disk medium placed on the tray 12, and a judging circuit (judging means) to judge the position of the optical disk medium on the tray 12 based on the detection outputs of the media sensors 1-1 to 1-4. |
